HYROX Training in Downtown LA

ESTLR Athletics

HYROX
Official Training Club

HYROX Training in Los Angeles.
We’re an Official Training Club.

Two coached sessions a week built entirely around the real HYROX stations — sleds, rowers, ski erg, wall balls, burpee broad jumps. Run by an accredited Training Club in Downtown LA’s Arts District, not a gym guessing at the format.

Where Every Body Belongs

Same Floor, Same Coaches, No Gatekeeping

HYROX at ESTLR isn’t reserved for people who already look like racers. First-timers and competitive athletes train the same stations, on the same floor, under the same coaches — every movement scaled to where you’re at, not where you should be. Whether the goal is finishing your first 8 stations or chasing a podium, the standard is the same: show up and do the work.

Two Ways to Train HYROX at ESTLR

Ongoing Track

HYROX Training

Train the stations twice a week, all year, right here in Los Angeles — not a one-off class, a dedicated track for people actually racing.

  • 2 coached sessions/week, built around the 8 HYROX stations
  • Programming that maps directly to race day, not a guess at it
  • Every station scaled to where you’re at — first race or fifth

In-House Event

ESTLR HYROX Simulation

Our in-house simulation of the HYROX format. This is the ESTLR HYROX Simulation — not an official HYROX event, run by ESTLR on our own floor.

  • Same 8-station format, doubles or solo (we pair you if you sign up solo)
  • Run on our floor, by our coaches — a real dry run before race day
  • No ranking points, no official results feed — just a hard test of where you’re at

HYROX Training, Broken Down

HYROX Group Training builds a complete athletic engine — aerobic capacity, strength, power, agility, coordination. Four formats, each hitting a different piece of it:

Foundational

Baseline fitness, built like traditional circuit training.

Engine

Endurance and aerobic capacity, built through intervals and sprints.

Power

Strength and endurance for moving weight under fatigue.

Complete

Aerobic and lactic conditioning combined with HYROX-specific skills — closest to actual race demands.

Right now this work is programmed inside ESTLR’s MetCon sessions, not yet split into 4 separate bookable classes.

HYROX Training in Los Angeles — FAQ

Is there a HYROX gym in Los Angeles?

Yes. ESTLR Athletics is an official HYROX Training Club in the Arts District of Downtown LA — one of the few gyms in the city programming HYROX year-round, not running it as a one-off event.

Where can I train for HYROX in LA?

ESTLR Athletics, 431 S Hewitt St in the Arts District. Two coached sessions a week built around the real HYROX stations — sled, ski erg, rower, wall balls, burpee broad jumps — so it’s not a shock on race day.

Does ESTLR Athletics offer HYROX training?

Yes, as a dedicated ongoing track, not a single class. HYROX is programmed alongside our regular CrossFit methodology, with coaches who train the stations specifically instead of guessing at the format.

What’s included in HYROX training at ESTLR?

Two weekly sessions built station-by-station — sled push/pull, ski erg, rowing, farmers carry, sandbag lunges, wall balls, burpee broad jumps — scaled to where you’re at, plus the in-house ESTLR HYROX Simulation to test yourself before race day.

What are the 4 HYROX class formats?

Foundational (baseline fitness), Engine (aerobic capacity via intervals), Power (strength and endurance under fatigue), and Complete (a blend closest to actual race demands). ESTLR trains all four inside our MetCon programming.
